The Powder Jazz Band has taken the coolest, smoothest, swingin’est songs of the black and white era and revived them with a Sinatra style, an Ella Fitzgerald sense of humour and a Nat King cool.

Rapidly gaining a reputation for getting it “just right" they are fastidiously authentic; always dressed for dinner and with instruments dressed even better, they never fail to set a cool tone. As musicians in their own right, they have collectively played along side Jools Holland, Ian Dury, and even Duran Duran, with decades of gigging experience and session work around the globe.

From mellow, breathy romance to all-out swing and everywhere in between, no matter what the mood, they compliment it perfectly.
