It’s a double bass playing a walking bass line.
Shwing is a piano improvising lightning quick solos.
It’s the savage bossa nova rhythm of the drums
Swhing is the cool guitar lines.
It’s the swagger of the crooner clicking his fingers to the beat. It rides a fingersnap on the off-beat, claps only triplets.
Shwing hints at its presence in the jaunty angle of a hat and the arched eyebrow of the singer scatting over a Killers song.
