We were in a meeting with an events company last week who have used LMM to book a couple of things (Live Karaoke bands aka bandeoke or rockaoke and After Dark amongst them) and we were trying to find the right words to describe what we were offering (and in turn what the client wanted.)
They were looking for a nationwide team of DJs for a project they are about to run.
It went without saying that they needed professional, reliable DJs who would show up and do a good job,be able to work within a tight brief and create a great atmosphere but what else was it they were looking for?
Its a bland description and many people would avoid using the word. They would try and say something more business like but LMM just came out with it and said “You need to use nice people.”
“That’s exactly right…you have totally nailed it!” said our friends at the events agency.
I guess we have built our business on this one little word…..use nice people and get good results. It’s nice to be nice!
Just thought I’d let you know we though Soul Dedication we great when we saw them rehearse. Very nice people too!

I just wanted to say that Baggy and the guys were absolutely brilliant. They went down a storm and the client loved them.
We will be speaking with client tomorrow to get feedback as when she was gushing about them….. from a personal point of you I thought they were brilliant and played a key part in the success of the event.
