National Federation Of Young Farmers AGM-Blackpool Winter Gardens May 6 to 8

Big hello to all our friends travelling to the National Federation Of Young Farmers AGM at Blackpools splendid Winter Gardens today (May 6.)

The National Federation Of Young Farmers AGM runs right through from today to Sunday at the Blackpool Winter Gardens and LMM are proud to be supplying the live bands for this massive event for the third year running.Young Farmers groups will be travelling from all corners of the UK by mini bus,car and coach.5ooo young farmers will be arriving in Blackpool for the mid day registrations and the weekends festivities begin almost immediately.Tonights entertainment on stage will include a set from the marvelous Bailey J Band playing slick RNB and funky classics.

Over the rest of the weekend Barnstorm will be creating a hoe down,Electric Mayhem and The Hoops will be rocking the joint and Lucas will be performing a set of Live Band Karaoke (aka Rockaoke or Bandeoke.)

LMM are proud to be involved with this event and if it’s anything like the 2010 event in Torquay we expect everyone (acts and guests) to have a brilliant time.

New Years Eve 2010 Bands Available

I guess when Bing Crosby sang “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas” he wasn’t neccesarily thinking of the transport infrastructure implications of a snow fall so close to the Christmas party season.Anyway I digress.

Due to a couple of cancellations we have two fantastic function bands available for New Years Eve.

The Bailey J Band are based in Cheshire and available in a mulitude of line ups from duo up to nine piece.

7Th Floor are from South Wales and again they are available in various line ups from duo upwards (the largest line up available for New Years Eve would be the four piece.)

Bailey J Duo Play At The Rugby Super League Man Of Steel Awards Tonight

The Bailey J Duo fronted by Toni James will be playing soul , pop and jazz standards at the annual Super League Man Of Steel Awards tonight at the Manchester Hilton.A prestigious second booking for this great duo at one of the biggest events in the Rugby sporting calendar.You can catch the video of the full band in action at the head of this page.

The Man of Steel Award is the annual award for the best rugby league football player in the Super League competition.

Started in 1977, the Man of Steel Award annually honours the outstanding player in the British game. Originally voted on by members of the Rugby League  press and, from 2008, by Super League players themselves, the award has often bypassed the top try scorer, winning captain or great International player.

The award is club and country blind – the success of the player’s club is irrelevant and winners include Australians and a New Zealander.

LMM have a long tradition of providing entertainment to the Rugby world.We have supplied on the pitch entertainment for both the Bradford Bulls and the Wigan Warriors Rugby games.
