When the Walkabout Bars get together with LMM to throw a party we pull out all stops to make it an unforgettable night.
With glamorous stiltwalkers,sky tracker lights,red carpets and a guest appearance from John Partridge (AKA Christian from Eastenders) last night at the grand re opening of Blackpool Walkabout was no exception.
With the great and good of Blackpool invited to the exclusive VIP early evening party, where food and drink flowed like there was no tomorrow, there was already a massive queue by the time the venue opened to the general public at 8.30.The queue remained all night as the warm day and the festival atmosphere brought everyone and their mate into town.
DJ Mad Matt from the famous Mad Monday night in Blackpool took to the podium whilst DJ Sonic manned the decks and soon everyone in the place was dance floor…in fact the whole place became the dancefloor!
By the time the amiable and friendly John Partridge (star of Lottery,Family Fortunes,Cats and,of course,Eastenders) joined Matt on the podium for some rabble rousing MC work there was a real party atmosphere that continued throughout the night with giveaways and fun all the way.

A special mention has to go to Nick (AKA Nick The Greek) the manager who held the whole thing together with great aplomb and his upbeat team,especially Lyndsay whose bubbly personality inspires the bar staff to give out some of that famous Aussie hospitality.
LMM were at the original opening night supplying bands and DJs ten years ago and we are very proud to have been at the re opening …wow time passes fast when you are having this much fun.
