DJ Raises Money For Cystic Fibrosis
DJ Marc Hogson is a valued member of the LMM team of DJs working for us in Walkabout venues throughout the North Of England.He’s a great DJ and a thoroughly nice chap so when I bumped into him on Sunday and he told me about his fund raising efforts I felt we should try and help.Below is an outline of Marc’s latest fund raiser and how you can donate to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
“I am taking part in the Great Yorkshire Run 10k
Many of you will know I ran this race last year. I have decided to do it again this year. I have put my name down for the London Marathon next year. I will find out if I have a place in October. So this will be a good warm up.
My reason for taking part, as many of you know, is that cystic fibrosis effects my family. Ella, my daughter, is at the moment is a picture of health, but suffers from the illness. I don’t wish to bore you all with the ins and outs but we as parents do everything we can to keep her healthy. Although Ella is healthy she is currently on a course of antibiotics and nebulised antibiotics. Plus she has physio 3 times a day and has to take tablets with every meal and snack to help her body break down the food to get its nutrients. Ella leads a completely normal life, we don’t stop her from doing anything. In September she will be starting school which she is getting very excited about.
The CF trust is a fantastic organisation which is helping with funding to help find a cure for this debilitating disease.
