Bride wore black
With the Halloween weekend almost upon us now is as good a time as ever to speak of the weddings which do not conform to the norm….the Goth and Rock weddings where the bride wore black!
Twenty first century wedding planning allows for the Bride and Grooms personalities to shine at their big event. There is no longer the neccesity to conform to tradition. Brides and Grooms now have free reign to plan a wedding which meets with their life style choices and to tailor the event and the wedding entertainment to meet these criteria. This has led Live Music Management to supplying some interesting cover bands and DJ’s for rock , alternative and goth weddings over the years.
One of our mobile DJs was given a brief to play a very mainstream party set at the early part of a wedding a few years ago but he was instructed to turn the music up loud and to play rock tracks from 11pm onwards so that the Bride and Groom could rock out to some fairly hard core thrash metal. The Bride wore white in this case but she was moshing on the dance floor just the same!

Of course Live Music Management are the entertainment agency to go to if you are looking for the best in rock or guitar based covers bands and several of our live acts have proved popular at alternative weddings as they are able to play some rock based material with great authenticity but are also able to play more mainstream tracks which will work with the parents, and indeed, grandparents present at a family wedding.
