Leeds Walkabout re-opens tonight after a massive refurbishment.
Live Music Management had a sneak preview last night and the place looks fantastic with an elevated dance floor,lovely new DJ booth and a brilliant bar space. It retains the classic Walkabout look but takes it into the 21 st Century. Everyone we spoke to at the VIP opening last night was loving the vibe and with a great team of friendly staff including some Aussies the new Leeds Walkabout is bound to appeal to old friends and new fans.
Talking of fans. We are expecting lots of Eastenders fans in the venue tonight when Scott Maslen who plays Jack Branning in the Cockney soap appears live in the venue for a meet and greet and question and answer session. If you are a Jack Branning fan then there is only one place to be in Leeds tonight.
The DJ team tonight will be Mad Mat Stevens along with the only slight less mad Jim Brown. I reckon with that team in place the venue will be jumping.
