The Sparks are perfect for weddings and parties in Norfolk

The Sparks are a three piece party band all the way from Australia who now reside in Norwich and play many weddings and parties in the Norfolk area.Although The Sparks travel throughout the UK for shows and play regularly in London (indeed they run the Friday night Rockaoke Bandeoke night at Shepherds Bush Walkabout which attracts hundreds of fans every Friday) they love to play on their home turf of Norfolk.

See here for sound files etc http://www.lmmuk.com/band/The+Sparks  or call 08454 900515 for further details or email info@lmmuk.com

The Sparks have been together since April 2009. Fronted by Josh (Australia) and supported by Brendan (Australia) and Ed (UK), we have an average age of 27.83…which we are told is the peak moment for artistic brilliance and musical dexterity. We sound like a band that plays other people’s music really really well.

As an added bonus, we are a lovely bunch of fellas to deal with. You will find us to be polite, professional and bang on time.

The demo tunes that appear on this website are LIVE, UNALTERED and completely free of artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.

Recent Client Testimonial for this great Norfolk based party band

I just wanted to say thanks again for a brilliant job you, Josh and Ed did on Saturday night at Matt’s party. You were fantastic and really made the night a lot of fun. Everyone who came said how much they enjoyed the entertainment! Matt and I especially had a great time and really appreciated the two Powderfinger songs you played for us.

I’m sorry that only a few really managed to do your music any justice but I think everyone else enjoyed having a go and I will never forget little Erik’s performance of Eye of the Tiger (nor will he as I recorded it!).

Thanks also for helping me to set up the music after you’d finished.

Hopefully see you all again in the near future. We will definitely keep you guys in mind for future parties and recommend you to our mates.”

Blobfish-It looks how I feel

Blobfish-It looks how I feel

The Blobfish is a fish that inhabits the deep waters off the coast of Australia.Threatened by deep sea trawling it is rarely seen by humans but is on threat of extinction due to excessive deep water fishing.

It also looks,my friends, how I feel on this post Australia Day morning.

Lets backtrack though to yesterday when at 8pm we arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed at Shepherds Bush Walkabout where we were met by a 300 strong queue.

The Hi Fidels were on stage and rocking the place with what they introduced as a beautiful Xmas song….it was,of course,Rage Against The Machines Killing In The Name Of.A thousand Aussies went wild.

Australia Day gives our Australasian bands chance to play songs they   don’t ordinarily play at weddings and parties in front of a crowd who want to hear the songs from back home (as featured in our top 100 Aussie Anthems posted yesterday.)

If you want details of the Hi Fidels who are available for weddings and parties please check them out here. http://www.lmmuk.com/band/The+Hi-Fidels  They wont play Killing In The Name Of (or the Australian National Anthem) at your wedding unless you really want them to!

The Hifidels were followed on Stage by DJ Deano who was brilliant as ever and read the crowd like a book.He had the whole place rocking and singing their heads off with a set which went from The Home And Away theme through to Fatboy Slim and other dance classics like Born Slippy right back to little heard Aussie Anthems and big tunes such as Sex On Fire By The Kings Of Leon.

Deano had a ball as did the crowd and the LMM team.

We missed sets by The Bondis http://www.lmmuk.com/band/The+Bondis and The Sparks http://www.lmmuk.com/band/The+Sparks who were both awesome by all accounts as we went from Shepherds Bush to Temple  where we were met with a queue which almost stretched from Temple Walkabout down to Somerset House!

Inside Electric Mayhem were amazingly good and held the crowd in the palm of their hand as they played a fantastic and eclectic set of covers.See http://www.lmmuk.com/band/Electric+Mayhem  for more details on Electric Mayhem.

DJ Yax http://www.lmmuk.com/band/DJ+Yax+Man did a brilliant job of entertaining over 1000 people and there cant have been many folks in the Walkabout last night who didn’t have one of the best nights of their lives.

Covent Garden Walkabout was the next stop where Tim Barton had the crowd both singing and in hysterics as he commanded the stage recently vacated by X Factor finalist Jamie Afro (Jamie Archer.)

All in all it was a wonderful evening to be in London and out in some of the most exciting venues in town with a great crowd of party goers who just wanted to have a good time. What could be better than that?

All the acts mentioned above are available for weddings, events, parties, military balls, university events and nightclub venues.
