I was with one of our jazz swing acts “Nat King Bing” on Sunday and they have been booked for a wedding later this month where the client has given them a guideline of the recorded music they wish to hear between and after the band sets.It reads like the ultimate 1980s playlist and certainly when I was looking at it over the weekend there were a couple of tracks I had forgotten about (and thats despite LMM supplying the DJs to retro bar Rewind which focuses on the music of the 70s/80s and 90s.) The couple have obviously spent some time investigating and researching the music in order to put together this extensive list.

Its a great list for lovers of 1980s music and is sure to bring back some memories.

In further 19080s news today “Flashback” our 80s tribute band (think Duran Duran/Simple Minds and Spandau Ballet) have just been confirmed for a military ball.
