Act profile

ABC came about as a result of a genuine desire to provide something unique; a cover band of the highest quality, actively committed to capturing & recreating the authentic sound & feel of classic & modern funk, soul, and rock 'n' roll from the world's leading artists. Their vision was to achieve this, not only without the use of sequencers, backing tracks or sheet music, but also with a line-up of just 5 members, making them notably more affordable to clients over comparable bands covering similar material.

Over 50 auditions were held to seek out only the Midland's premiere professional soul musicians and singers - the resulting line-up features five guys all aged under 38, but with a combined total of over 90 years musical experience! Lead vocals are supplied by the amazingly talented soul singer Wayne Hill.

The band's repertoire of well-known songs is guaranteed to get any crowd singing & dancing, and because of the eclectic mix of catchy, funky, soulful & rockin' tunes from across the past five decades, there's bound to be something for everyone

The band provides a full 1600watt PA system, which you are welcome to use for announcements/speeches & incidental music wherever possible, as well as a lighting rig with sound activated moving scanners. As Musicians Union members, the band are fully insured for public liability cover, and all equipment is PAT tested in line with current regulations.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
