Act profile

Big Rig is an amazing 6 piece party band that will have everyone dancing till they drop!! The band have an enormous repertoire and cover various different genre’s from outrageous 70’s Funk to laid back jazz swing.
The band play a standard two set performance, the first being a 45 minute warm up set that allows everyone to get in the party mood. Big Rig then get everyone on to the dance floor and deliver an all out 1 and half hour second set throwing in all the classic 70’s Funk numbers and a few well celebrated pop classics. Big Rig are happy to play a couple of pre requested numbers. They can also give the option of providing an earlier 1 hour set of popular jazz songs for background music during wedding receptions and corporate dinners.

Big Rig provide full PA and lighting and are happy to travel anywhere.

Big Rig are also able to offer a twenty minute set of Israeli Music for Jewish weddings.

Line-up

6 piece Band: Female Vocal, Guitar, Piano (keys), Bass, Drums, Sax.

Instrumental Jazz Set - Quartet - Drums (brush's so very quiet), Guitar, Bass, Sax.

Also included

Changes per need of venue and audience, but generally 600 watt Pa per side (2x Speakers) with Sub and mixer for Pa. Lights; 2 Tripods with 3 lights each and selection of Led lights fitted to wodden mounts around the band.

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
