Act profile

I have been DJ-ing for 15 years in a huge array of venues and to a huge variety of people. I pride myself on paying a great deal of attention to the flow of the music, dealing with diverse requests in a sensitive way that makes sense and creates energy on any dancefloor. I have done the sixties parties, and I have played the clubs and bars, and everything in between.

My musical knowledge stretches from swing and the big band sound (what a fantastic start to a wedding - 'Feeling Good' - Michael Buble, or Nat 'King' Cole's 'Let There Be Love') to dance, trance and the R'n'B of now (check out the Danny Kirsch Remix of Katie Melua's 'The Flood' - favourite right now...). I have performed for the most intimate of parties, and for several hundred at the ballrooms in the hotels in central London and along the seafront in Brighton. To all the shows I perform at I bring the same approach - I will ensure that everything is done within my power to energise a party to its feet and find the music that brings back memories, stimulates the senses and creates an atmosphere that is leading to the best of the new music whilst presenting the classics as part of a seamless mix.

I will always try and make contact before a big day to ensure we understand one another, and to clarify what to expect from the party. You will appreciate the chance to find out how I work, and to specify what you would like, and possibly as important what you would prefer I avoid - all better to have sorted out prior to the event.

• LMM Party DJs are all versatile and extremely professional with a modern edge.
• LMM wedding and party DJs are able to work to a brief, or can read the crowd to keep the dance floor full.
• LMM party DJs can set-up quickly - typically within 45 minutes.
• LMM Wedding and Party DJs all have public liability insurance.
• LMM Party DJs all have PAT tested equipment.
• LMM Party DJs are available for a telephone consultation, prior to the event.
• LMM bookings are all contracted.
• You pay a small deposit up-front and the remainder on the night.

CD and MD based audio, two or four 15" speakers (mid tops and extra bass bins for bigger venues), up to full Goalpost light show with 4 scanners and other DMX effects, smoke machine where allowed (so few venues now...), Karaoke, Radio mics for use in speeches, presentations etc., and the ability to provide sound for other performers through audio mixing for singers, guitars, etc.
