Desire to ensure successful day for you
Long and varied experience
I have been DJ-ing for 15 years in a huge array of venues and to a huge variety of people. I pride myself on paying a great deal of attention to the flow of the music, dealing with diverse requests in a sensitive way that makes sense and creates energy on any dancefloor. I have done the sixties parties, and I have played the clubs and bars, and everything in between.
My musical knowledge stretches from swing and the big band sound (what a fantastic start to a wedding - 'Feeling Good' - Michael Buble, or Nat 'King' Cole's 'Let There Be Love') to dance, trance and the R'n'B of now (check out the Danny Kirsch Remix of Katie Melua's 'The Flood' - favourite right now...). I have performed for the most intimate of parties, and for several hundred at the ballrooms in the hotels in central London and along the seafront in Brighton. To all the shows I perform at I bring the same approach - I will ensure that everything is done within my power to energise a party to its feet and find the music that brings back memories, stimulates the senses and creates an atmosphere that is leading to the best of the new music whilst presenting the classics as part of a seamless mix.
I will always try and make contact before a big day to ensure we understand one another, and to clarify what to expect from the party. You will appreciate the chance to find out how I work, and to specify what you would like, and possibly as important what you would prefer I avoid - all better to have sorted out prior to the event.
Let me be part of your celebration, promotion or venue's atmosphere, and we will have a fantastic time.

I just wanted to say thankyou very much for sorting out the disco for my party on the 24.11.03.

Alastair and Kathryn Judge letter
'DJ Ash was the DJ for our wedding and the service he provided was first class. We sent him the list of songs we wanted to be played a few weeks before the wedding and then he did the rest! He was courteous, punctual and played all the songs we wanted. Most importantly, he had the knack for reading the crowd annd as a result it was commented on by several people that they had "never seen a dance floor so full at a wedding...". From the moment he played the first tune until he left at the end of the night, the dance floor was full...a testament to his skills.
Thanks for helping make it a great night'.
Karen Ford, Practice Business Manager, Quayside Medical Practice letter
'I just wanted to reiterate how pleased we were with the excellent service you provided last Friday evening. Numerous members of staff have said how much they enjoyed the disco. We shall certainly approach you for future events and recommend you to others'.

Addington Palace. It was a really great night, everybody was impressed
with the music and especially the screens.'

Jo Pierpoint, Friends Of Ardingly College
'Thank you very much for attending our event last night. It all seems
to be a tremendous success and you certainly got all the parents on the
dance floor. It was a shame that we over-ran on our part of the
evening so that the disco was shorter than planned.
Thank you once again, it has been a pleasure working with you.'
(Ardingly College, Haywards Heath Year 9 Ball 18.06.10)
Rick Tozer - Groom
'Hey mate, thanks so much for Saturday.
You did an awesome job. The response from everyone was great. Sorry I didn't get a chance to thank you or say goodbye on the night. Hope you enjoyed yourself as well.
Thanks again from Me, Rosa and my parents who also asked me to tell you what a great job they thought you did.
Will pass on your details and recommend you to people when I can

Graham Huntley - birthday party - London - November 2010
I would add that we were very pleased indeed with what Angus did for the event. It is the mark of a professional that they can adapt to different needs and client requests, and although ours was somewhat unusual Angus fitted in very well and achieved exactly what we asked of him. For that we are very grateful.
Adam Paker - wedding reception - London - April 2011
The DJ went down really well - he got into the music he was playing and this was infectious - so the punters did the same!
Emma Harrison - 40th birthday party - Surrey - August 2011
I needed a DJ at very short notice - 48 hours - and Function Junction were able to help out and provide me with a great DJ
Gerry Jee - wedding celebration - France - August 2011
Angus has a lovely manner, very professional, very reliable and more than lived up to our expectations. A true DJ in every sense!! We just don't know where he gets his staying power though!!
