Act profile

At 22 years old, Grace is a performer of many talents. Not only is she one of the world’s top female beatboxers but has recently gained respect amongst (and defeated some of!) the males of the scene too; finishing an impressive 4th place in the London heat of the 2011 UK Vauxhall Beatbox champs. Having been lucky enough to be mentored by the widely respected current WORLD female beatbox champion, Bellatrix, she has gained the skills necessary to perform alongside such beatboxing legends as Shlomo; appearing as a regular member of the prestigious Vocal Orchestra group. Grace has performed with the VO in such esteemed venues as the Jazz Cafe in Camden and the QEH at the Southbank Centre where she shared the stage with VULA (Basement Jaxx) and Soul Diva Natalie Williams.
Grace has recently won the London Heat of the L-talent competition and is through to the finals in September. As well as establishing herself on the underground music scene, Grace is maintaining her passion for theatre and pushing her mouth drumming skills to new and experimental realms. She has been seen merging beatboxing within live theatrical environments in productions such as 'Boxed' at the E4 Udderbelly Tent, May 2010, and Bristol Old Vic, May & Nov 2010.‘The Lost Voice’ at The Southbank Centre and E4 Udderbelly Tent, nominated as one of the 'Top Ten Kids Xmas Shows 2009' by the Independent and ‘Time Gentlemen Please’ with The Demon Barbers: Winner of ‘Best Llive Act’ at BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2009 and nominees for the same award in 2011.
Grace appeared on Radio 4's hit comedy show, The Unbelievable Truth in Dec 2011 appearing in a sketch with cult comedian Rufus Hound.
She was also the voice of the ILOVEAPPS radio advertising campaign in 2011.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
