Act profile

The Groove Monkeys are a 4 piece band from the Midlands who formed in 2004 and have played all around the country at corporate functions, Celebrity weddings, Military Balls and even supporting Belinda Carlisle on her recent UK tour!

Charismatic front man Dominic has a stage presence and voice that is truly unique and loves to entertain. Warren on guitar and Steve on bass have played in bands together since their schooldays and have a unique understanding and tightness that is reflected in the way they cover the songs that they do and drummer Will is one of the hottest young talents around who is in demand with several big name artistes when time permits!
The 4 members gel together in such a way that you feel you are genuinely getting a 'proper' band play for you. This is as close as it gets to having the Chili Peppers or the Killers play at your event.

The Groove Monkeys try and play something for everyone. Comprising a strong Indie bass they play classics from the Beatles to the Temptations and Van Morrison in their own way and with great passion.

The Groove Monkeys number one mission is to ensure that the Customer is completely satisfied in every way with the service they receive and the quality of the performance.

The musicians in The Groove Monkeys are highly talented and motivated. From touring the USA with signed artistes to record deals with EMI and Polydor they have been constantly busy all of their musical lives. Members of the band have worked with Dexy’s Midnight Runners, The Beat, Toploader, Liberty X, Sugababes, Let Loose, Diesel, Ruby Turner and many more. Members of the band have performed at the Radio 1 Party In The Park, The Manchester MEN arena and GMEX arena to crowds of 25,000.

Midlands based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales.

Hi Steve

I just wanted to thank you all for a fantastic night on Saturday, you made it a great party and everyone had such a good time.

Music was brilliant and I enjoyed the night even more than I thought I would, I was very apprehensive as I didn’t want a big fuss about it being my birthday just a good party – and that’s exactly what I got.

Just wish I could be 40 every year so I can do it all again!

Hi Steve

Just wanted to say a big thanks to you and the guys for a great gig.

Rachel and I loved it and the feedback we got from friends was it was the best evening reception people had been to in years and that was down to the band.

There were lots of sore feet from dancing the next morning let alone sore heads from too much drinking.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Hi Steve,

I must say that The Groove Monkeys were absolutely fabulous - they were amazing. They played some excellent sets and people were dancing all night long - the comments the day after and for further days to come that we kept getting from people was '.....that band were fab......' - so thanks to them
- they made the night a great one!!!

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
