Grab your Stetson and polish those rhinestones and come on down for just the best country music party ever. The Hootenanny Band offers an accessible combination of rocky and more traditional country music to get your feet tapping.

The band plays New Country and Country Rock songs interspersed with 'yee haw' instrumentals to liven up the atmosphere. Singer Martyna, who has been working with such influential talents as Boo Hewerdine, David Knopfler, Cara Dillon and Sam Lakeman, is ably supported by the electric guitar, guitar synthesizer and vocals of Brian heywood, Sian on fiddle and vocals along with Tom on bass and the irrepressible Mike on drums.

Our caller and all round dance expert can guide you through Square Dances, Line Dances, Party Dances and lots more. Even reluctant dancers will find it hard to resist joining in and everyone can be part of the fun; there is something for all ages and abilities.

Mike - Kit drums
Liz Scholey - Calling / dance instruction

We can do a acoustic fiddle & guitar duo for ambient music or 'meet and greet' events (i.e. before a dinner dance etc).

Also included

PA - 2 kWatt FOH with full range drivers and subs, mixing desk and foldback system
Lighting - 4 x Parcans on T bar with chaser/sound-to-light controller, 2 x Parcan backlighters, 2 x stage batons (additional lighting available if required).

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands.

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.
