Tonight we're going to party like it's 1979!

Based in Buckinghamshire, five-piece band Huggies has become established as one of the south’s funkiest and fun soul / disco bands, performing classics from the legends of the Atlantic soul era, plus 70s funk & disco favourites.

Since forming in 2004 the band has played at a bewildering variety of functions including weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, corporate events and company Christmas parties.

Fronted by their impressive and vivacious vocalist Natalie and backed by a talented team of musicians collaborating to bring you the funkiest soul & disco grooves, the band delivers a quality professional sound and performance every time to ensure that every event is a memorable one. The band tries to bring a party atmosphere to every occasion, dressing in the flamboyant styles of the late seventies and proving especially popular at fancy dress events and seventies theme nights.

Huggies brings you energetic and authentic well-known and well loved disco and soul floorfillers which every age group will know and enjoy. The band is ideal for corporate functions, private parties, wedding receptions, dinner dances or any other event where you want your guests to get down and get funky.

All the musicians in the band have spent years involved in music, and between them have made several records, performed on national tv and radio, and have written and recorded music for radio, tv and theatre. The band was formed to play the music which they themselves love, with an emphasis on fun for everyone.

Line-up

Five-piece band comprising female lead vocals, keyboards and backing vocals, guitar and backing vocals, bass guitar and drums.

The band is happy to discuss any invidual requirements that might be required by the client.

Also included

Full lighting rig including two bars of coloured par cans, two multicoloured LED systems, moving lighting effects and of course the spotlit glitter ball!

3kW PA system including Allen & Heath mixing console, Wharfedale speaker tops, subwoofers and stage monitors. Shure and Sennheiser microphones. All equipment fully PAT tested.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
