Act profile

The difference between Jade and other high-end showbands is that their background isn't in theatre, cruise ships or cabaret - it's in the mainstream music business. Members of the band have, for many years, toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in music (James Brown, Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Enrique Iglesias, Kylie....) giving them a 'Rock n Roll' edge that definitely isn't cabaret!
Jade was put together by an events company in 1998, hand-picking top performers for a party in Westminster for the Labour Party Cabinet. Since then they've played at virtually every Virgin Atlantic flight launch party all over the World (Las Vegas, Shanghai, Lagos, Mumbai, Havana, Nassau, Dubai...), played several times at Sir Richard Branson's house and for companies including American Express, Barclays and the Johnnie Walker Golf Classic in Phuket. They've also had the honour of performing at private functions for Prince Charles,Prince Andrew, The Sultan Of Oman and Princess Alia of Jordan.
They were the house band on the Charlotte Church TV show and have recently had Smokey Robinson,Ashford and Simpson and Deniece Williams perform with them as guest singers.

Line-up

6 pc. (2 girl singers, 4 band)
7 pc. (+ male singer)
9 pc. (2 girl singers, 3 pc. brass section, 4 band)
10 pc. (3 singers, 3 brass, 4 band)
12 pc. (4 singers, 3 brass, 4 band + percussionist)

The brass section can perform a Jazz/Swing/improv. set with a backing track perfect for a drinks reception or during dinner.
The rest of the band can perform an acoustic/background music set (Burt Bacharach to James Blunt) perfect for a drinks reception or during dinner.

Also included

We hire in PA & lights specific to each event ranging from a 2K PA with 2 x 4 par cans lights to a full outdoor rig with light show.

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Wales.

Jade was absolutely fabulous! We had so many positive comments from all of our guests and I think the band will agree with me that the dance floor was absolutely packed the whole time.
It was only too bad it was over too soon and it was a tough act to follow for any DJ. Harry did a good job but he agreed with me that he should have had a more powerful sound system as it was a bit weak following the band.
I would definitely use Jade again. It is the best band I have seen apart from very famous artists, like Roxette, Tina Turner etc. Everybody asked where I had found this fantastic band and they also said that they played most songs even better than the originals.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
