Act profile

Jose is a solo Acoustic finger-style guitarist. Gathering his techniques and inspiration from the best of flamenco, blues and Celtic folk and fusing them together Jose has created a unique, captivating and heart warming performance.

Brought up in Brixton South London, by Irish and Spanish parents, Jose has grown up with an eclectic taste and love for all types of music. Over the last 6 years Jose has performed with artists: Adele, Rox, Angie Brown (Fatboy Slim, Bizarre inc.), Lifford (Artful Dodger) and Alison David (Red Snapper) to name a few... Jose has collaborated on recordings which have aired on 'BBC Radio 6 music', Radio Reverb, and has supported artists such as 'Broadcast 2000' and Tim Burgess from the highly successful Britpop band 'The Charlatans' . Jose's own compositions featured on the film 'Strange New World'- Directed & produced by Edward Hicks for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with support from principal partner 'Warner Bros' and at the age of 22 is being compared to legendary artists such as Bert Jansch, Davy Graham and John Martyn.

Jose offers a fuller sound from one instrument, using Acoustic Guitar and sometimes Loop-station, creating rhythm, chords and melody, and adding a fresh yet familiar twist to your favourite songs, giving you something that everyone will enjoy.

Jose can be booked as a solo act, or as part of a duo or Trio with Cellist and/or Female singer, ideal background music for weddings, dinner parties, private and corporate functions or any other occasion/event.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
