Act profile

Journey North are a fully live acoustic covers duo featuring two talented vocalist/guitarists. They play several venues, mainly in and around London every week and have notched up 400+ gigs over the last five years. As well as bar residencies they have played numerous weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, functions and corporate events.

The duo was formed in June 2006 and through their experience can easily perform either a rousing night of party tunes or a chilled session of ballads and mellow classics or mix it up for a little bit of both.

They perform songs from present day back to the 50s, including Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Rolling Stones, the Beatles, The Monkees, Oasis, Green Day, U2, Buzzcocks, T-Rex, The Verve, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, The Police and tons more besides.

They currently perform at venues in and around London including The Ship - Wandsworth, The Griffin – Whetstone, O'Neill's - Clapham, Common Room, Wimbledon.

Solo - Martin on acoustic guitar, vocals and loop pedal

String duo - Martin - vocals and acoustic guitar & Anna on violin

Behringer 500 watt power amp, Wharfdale speakers, small lighting rig (4 lights).

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
