Midlands based Jazz swing band and duo
Katherine Kerrow: Credits include performance in many major London theatres and music venues and two No.1 tours. As well as performing in some of the UKs leading festivals, Kate will be showcasing her original album at Glastonbury 2009. Kate has also worked on the London Jazz scene for a number of years and is under the tuition of BBC Jazz Awards winner, Anita Wardell.
M. Hatchard: Mike has accompanied literally hundreds of singers including Salena Jones, David Essex, Matt Monro, Jamie Cullum, Cleo Laine, Maxine Daniels, Tina May, Jackie Dankworth, Marion Montgomery, Norma Winstone and Julia Migenes. He has also recorded with Cleo Laine, Claire Hamill, Alan Barnes, Shufflejazz, Tina May, Martin Drew, Clark Tracey and Andra Sparks. He has appeared at The Ivy, the BBC Concert Hall, Brussels IBM Centre, the Oberoi, New Delhi and the American Embassy, London. He has performed his one-man-show at numerous theatres including the Purcell Room, Southbank, The Lyric Hammersmith.
Richard Hughes: Richard works with bands and artists both locally and internationally. His experience is wide ranging having gigged regularly for over ten years in bands that range from modern jazz, gypsy swing, blues and boogie, latin. Richard has toured with the Central England Ensemble in Germany, and performs at the Birmingham Jazz Festival with Alex Garnet and Tim Kliphuis.
David Morgan: David has worked on the Midlands and London Jazz Scenes for over 20 years and is a well sought after bass player, having worked with some of the most prestigious names in the business and at venues such as Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex, 606 Club. He has completed many BBC recordings.
