Act profile

Kitten, a 4-piece high energy Pop/Rock covers band, providing a high standard of entertainment to the west country. The four experienced musicians have their own sound that puts their stamp on modern rock, pop classics and contemporary covers from the 80's, 90's, and today. Including: - Anastasia, Pink, Evanescence, Christina Aguilera, Skunk Anansie, Fergie,, Guns N Roses, Girls Aloud, Alanis Morissette, Donna Summer, Gossip, Rihanna, Katrina and the Waves, Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Paramore, Eurhythmics, plus a load more with new artists being added to the set list every month.
With the emphasis on creating a great atmosphere, the constantly expanding set provides the perfect setting for most venues including functions and weddings etc.
The members of Kitten first got together in November 2007, with the goal of becoming a working pub/function band. The songs we choose are from various genres and areas but are very much adapted to 'our' sound. Plus we try not to pick songs that are common with other covers bands around, partly to offer some thing different and partly because of our female singers powerful voice which we like to make the most of! Kitten has been playing regular gigs mostly in the Plymouth area but also branch out to Cornwall and Devon. Highlights have included playing on Plymouth Hoe right before the National Fireworks championship and course last years Ivylive/Filham Festival.

Hannah Finn, the lead vocals for Kitten and accomplished Solo Artist who in 2005 won the National star search for Stairway to the Stars. She also competed in the National Finals, XFactor and has performed regularly in the Theatre Royal. Hannah enjoys the comradeship and team work that comes with working in a band and has never looked back to her solo days.

Charlie Griffith, A very accomplished Lead Guitarist and song writer. Charlie has been active on the Devon Music scene for many years and has gained the respect of his fellow band members and other musicians who know him. His speed and accuracy on the guitar coupled with his quality of character brings that added ingredient to the bands over all sound.

Steve Granger, Drummer for Kitten, a good solid player with many years playing the local Pub and Club Scene. A founder member of Kitten, Steve is looking forward to a long and growing career with the band. Steve is also a keen Guitarist and enjoys his input to original song writing.

Simon Griffiths, Bass for Kitten, originally from a jazz back ground played the local circuit through the early 90’s. Then moved to the south coast, wrote and toured the UK and States with a Rock/Pop band before returning to the west country in 2001.

You guys were brilliant . . . Sorry I can't remember your names . . But the guitarist was brilliant especially in sweet child of mine! Shame the electrics cut off though at the start . . The vocals were brill as well it was awsome they way you changed the style an made it your own (foo fighters - pretender + anastacia ) the bass was great although im just starting bass ive never seen a six stringed bass . N last but not least the drums . . Dude you rock didnt your arms/wrists hurt after the gig? . Basically what im trying to say is you are a brilliant band an I think you made that new years eve party bloody brilliant please come back next year if there is a party thing there! [Sat 11th Apr 09] Hi, saw you guys at the Mutley Crown last night. We had a cancellation and thought we would come down and have a listen. Have to say that we havent seen many bands in the south west that impressed us but you lot did. Excellent vocals! and some sweet guitar ( i want that PRS!! ) Not really into electric kits, prefer the old fashioned approach but yours sounded ok. Keep Music Live!!!!!! Paul - Revival - paul

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
