Act profile

"Looks Like Dave" are the ultimate party band. A young, energetic, good-looking all male 4-piece function band performing all the best chart hits. have a firm reputation as one of the best party bands in the UK since they began performing in May 2005.

Consistently packing dance floors at every event they play, this live 4-piece will provide an unforgettable show for your guests. There are no gimmicks, no backing tracks, just pure live energy from four suited & booted guys who are all highly talented musicians and experienced performers.

Aside from their onstage skills, they pride themselves on their professionalism and will do their best to make sure that all will run smoothly from the time of booking through to the event itself.

Due to their popularity, their diary gets filled quickly, so if you wish to book the band get in contact asap!

They perform chart music from the 50's to the present that you can dance to - please see the songs page.

They have a full 5kW PA (Logic System 1296 rig), full lighting rig with motorised units and effects and smoke machine, meaning that they can cater for most functions and venues.

Line-up

Keys, Guitar, Bass, Drums with all 4 singing.

Can do early dinner set.

Also included

5kw Logic System Rig with Allen & Heath mixing desk. 2x2000W flashing colour mixer units & 3 motorised effects units.

Location

North West based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

Hi guys,

Sorry it's taken a few weeks to write but we've only just got back from honeymoon. Sonia and I wanted to say an enormous 'thanks' for your performance at our wedding on the 11th October [2008]. We knew you were good when we came to see you in Leeds but I don't think either of us realised just how bloody good you really are. We've had so many comments about it being the best wedding our guests have ever attended with everyone raving about how the band made the evening.

It was so great to see nearly all of our friends and family up on their feet for the majority of the night and this was completely down to The Funtime Frankies. We honestly cannot thank you enough, you were absolutely first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending you guys to anybody. Thanks a million!!

(WEDDING February 23rd 2008)

Hi Robin, Yew Han and the Band,

Would have written earlier but I’ve been on my hols recovering!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to let you guys know what a fabulous day we had on the 23rd. and your contribution was appreciated.

The feedback Anne & I received from our friends and family has been fantastic, from start to finish everyone had a wonderful time.

Before Alex and Dan went on honeymoon they where telling me how many of their friends who had said not only was it the best wedding they had attended but also the best party; this has been reinforced by everyone I've spoken with, from the kids to the grandparents and time and time again the “Band” was mentioned.

The variety of music played coupled with your “party” attitude to get everyone up and dancing, not to mention your obvious musical talent was the icing on the cake.

One of my abiding memories will be when you were performing the last session and virtually every one of our guests were on their feet dancing the night away.

We had high expectations for the day and they where exceeded and "Looks Like Dave" played a big, big part to it’s success.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
