Marcus - Singer and Guitarist

Marcus is an experienced singer-songwriter who has been performing regularly around London for the last few years, including legendary venues such as the Troubadour, the Dublin Castle and the Hope & Anchor, as well as over 400 private bookings.

With a powerful voice and a broad repertoire comprising a mixture of indie, rock, pop and soul, Marcus is currently available for bookings of solo acoustic covers gigs. Ideal for pubs, clubs, parties, weddings, restaurants and other public or private functions, and highly flexible, Marcus will tailor his choice of material and style to suit your event.

Clients have repeatedly commented that Marcus is more than a 'pub singer' - with a powerful and soulful voice, he injects real quality and character into any song he covers, putting his own spin on it, and tailoring the mood to the audience.

- Enough material to play for around four hours continuously. Can play all covers, or a mixture of covers and my own original material as requested.

- Public liability insurance, fully equipped and insured PA system which I can bring to any venue

- Vehicle and full UK driving licence. Can easily travel to anywhere in the South East of England, or further afield if required

Simply put Marcus was absolutely sensational. We had booked Marcus for a 3 hour slot at our wedding to play to our guests as they arrived at the venue, and to play in the background during our wedding breakfast. His communication throughout from the day we booked him was excellent. He arrived early, no fuss, set up and started to play. To be honest I didn't even see him arrive he just did. He started to play in the venue but as the weather was so hot everyone was outside, so he just came out played outside and performed again no fuss. We sat down for our wedding breakfast and he performed in the background. Not overpowering just very nice background music. His repertoire of songs is first class and includes loads of well known songs by big artists. Marcus performs these songs with his own spin perfectly. We had also asked at short notice if he could learn one or two other songs to play on the day which he did no problem at all. One Man, One Guitar, One fantastic Voice. Where do I begin. I am a self confessed perfectionist but when I started planning our wedding I was looking for a singer during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Marcus was AMAZING. If you want perfection but are unsure or in doubt, book Marcus and you will not be let down. He was truly brilliant. After researching various places for a solo guitarist/singer for our private function we found Marcus. From initial contact through to performing on the day he was accommodating, helpful and an excellent performer. He even learned new material especially for us and played several sets into the night.
