Act profile

Born in the USA live band karaoke or Bandaoke has become an entertainment phenomenon that has taken One Night Standeoke on a voyage from the hottest live music venues in London all the way to Cyprus, Kosovo and beyond.

The journey began with a Saturday night residency in London’s prestigious Camden Barfly. Taking to the stage after the audience had already seen four bands, they quickly learned how to entertain and interact with a varied crowd, ensuring everyone who took the stage left feeling like superstars.

With their stint at the Barfly a major success they teamed up with the UK’s most renowned entertainment agency Live Music Management. One Night Standeoke soon had three weekly residencies across the country in The Walkabout. Now, having played well over 500 shows and with a staggering repertoire on their play-list, they have the experience and ability to tailor a show to suit any occasion whether it be a wedding, corporate event or live music venue. They’ve even been the Bandaoke band of choice for Combined Services Entertainment who employ One Night Standeoke to entertain the UN peacekeeping forces on their tour of duty!

With no two shows ever being the same you need to know that you are in reliable hands… Enter Frank, Drew and Will. With over 50 years of playing experience between them they are dynamic, encouraging, professional and versatile and always manage to present the performer as the star of the show. Whether Motowning it through My Girl or moshing through Rage Against The Machine, One Night Stand are all about having fun and putting on a show you’ll never forget!

With an ever-growing status and buzz about them, One Night Standeoke have been joined on stage by Max Rafferty from The Kooks who did a storming rendition of his own song Naïve. With celebrities such as Suggs, James Nesbit and Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs joining in the fun, Bandaoke is definitely here to stay!

Line-up

Guitar, bass, drums and vocals.

Available with either a male or female singer to front the band or to integrate with the bandaoke for the evening.

Also included

1k rig consisting of Yamaha Desk, Mackie Speakers, Wharfedale Monitors and Sure Mics.
Kam Parbar MKII super-bright lighting rig.

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

I chose these guys for our national conference in January after searching the net for days... and i am so glad i picked them!
They were all really polite and friendly and really encouraged everyone to come up on stage and join in. Everyone at the conference had so much fun and they weren't afraid to get on stage and sing...even i, who is completely tone deaf, was converted and got up to sing!

"The party was a huge success and the band were brilliant so thank you. I wrote a cheque and I no longer have it so I hope I gave it to the band! However the end of the evening was a bit fuzzy so please let me know if I didn't. I'm assuming they won't have left without getting paid!
The venue (Clerkenwell House) was also great for that kind of party and free (min spend only) so I'd recommend it to anyone else booking a bandeoke band and looking for a funky venue for about 60ish people.

Hello Rick,

just wanted to give feed back for the band. They were wicked! I never knew this could be so much fun! We started fairly late as there was tube and rail closures I wasn't aware of before the night and Farringdon station was closed so people arrived much later than anticipated. so we did 2 sets of 60 minutes in the end. I think they might get a gig in germany next year as my friend is really keen to get them over for her party in Hamburg.
Alastair and Dominique, the pub owners are also thinking of putting nights like this on more often.
Just to say thank you, it has been a great night thanks to the band and I will be sure to recommend them.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
