Act profile

Paul has been singing and performing in a variety of roles for over 15 years and worked all around the UK. He has worked solo as a singer also in a boy/girl duo and also as a presenter and host for many social and corporate events. He can provide a disco to continue the entertainment long in to the night, or a mixture of the two.
He works well with an audience and always tries to make everyone feel at ease with humour and conversation.

Line-up

Paul works alone, using top-quality big band backing tracks which faithfully reproduce the sound of the original Sinatra recordings and other greats of the Swing era, soul classics and pop favourites and a top quality P.A. System.

If needed I can provide a more relaxed style of music for early dinner sets to take the silence off the meal and create a warm and relaxed atmosphere with songs old and new. Also live musicians and singers can be provided as and when required for an additional cost, from a backing pianist to a full Soul band.

Also included

I carry a traditional but good quality lighting system for larger events using 2 banks of 4 PAR Can 300watt Lamps with coloured gels to compliment the decor if known in advance mounted on 2 Tee Bars. 2 descreet lazors and Acme i Colour cabaret lights for the performance area.
I use 1 X 400watt Wharfdale powered Sub with 2 X 400 watt Active Wharfdale Titan 12A Full Range top speakers and 2 X Wharfedale Titan 15A 500watt Active Full range Cabs. Backing tracks are supplied via a laptop through a Behringer xenyx 1202 FX mixer or from SD cards and I use a Sure SM 58 radio mic or Audio Technica MB300l cabel mic for vocal delivery. All equipment is P.A.T.Tested and I carry full public liability insurance from The Musicians Union.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
