Platform Six

Platform Six are one of the most exciting acts to hit the UK party scene. Platform Six have been at the top of the covers scene for over 6 years and are known for their enthusiastic, high quality show that is guaranteed to impress any audience.

They give age old classics a fresh, new feel, and mix top 40 hits with the radical colours of the eighties and the funky grooves of the seventies. Together with the good old sing-a-long tunes and rockin indie Anthems, Platform Six will make any crowd come alive. With a repertoire well over 100 songs, Platform Six are talented professional musicians who aim to please every audience in any size venue.

With three accomplished vocalists, state-of-the-art equipment, and a drive to entertain, Platform Six have the professionalism and dedication to make any event a smash hit with all who attend.

One of LMM's firm favourite bands they have proved themselves time and again to be 100% professional,reliable and dynamic.Whether playing a University or Nightclub booking,a wedding or party event Platform Six are always going to deliver.Their track record is second to none and we have dozens of testimonials from previous clients who have loved the band.

Platform Six are also able to offer Bandeoke/Rockaoke sets and are in demand for every kind of live event from large festival to small wedding.

In November 2012 they played a private event with JLS at Londons fabulous Sketch venue.

Platform Six remain one of the UK's most popular party bands with a full diary and many repeat bookings. They can supply an electronic drum kit for bookings in venues with noise restrictions.

In September 2014 whilst playing an evening of Rockaoke / Bandeoke at a private party Charlotte Church joined the band on stage. She wasn't a guest at the party but had heard how good the band were from across the field they were playing in and asked if she could sing The Police's "Roxanne." She was brilliant and the client had a bonus singer!

Platform Six had one of their busiest years yet in 2017 with the band being booked regularly as a duo for the prestigious Wembley Stadium in the VIP Club Wembley.

As of 2018 Platform Six offer card payment facilities with iZettle.

Absolutely the best decision we made to have Platform 6.....they were incredible!!! Every guest danced ALL night and they all commented on how amazing the music was. If I could give 20 stars I would! Lovely lovely guys too 👍

Great guys who were up for a laugh and who made our wedding bandaoke a huge hit with the guests. They even went the extra mile and learned some music for songs that weren’t on the list. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Platform 6 were absolutely fantastic at our event. They played well recognised favourable songs that had everyone involved and dancing on the dance floor. Would 100% recommend these to anyone who is looking for a guaranteed good night.

Second time of hiring and they didn't disappoint. Lots of comments both on the night and afterwards as to how good the band was. The playlist fitted the brief of 90s and 00s perfectly and they looked like they were having as much fun as we were out on the dance floor.

All of the guests I spoke with commented on how fantastic the band was. Their playlist was a wonderful mix to suit all tastes and kept the party going splendidly.
All of the band members are characterful and extremely talented and appeared to be happy to be there and it added to the incredibly jovial atmosphere at our wedding.

(Tiny area for improvement for next time: no connectors for iPhone to play our own music between sets, which meant we had to use the venue's less than adequate sound system.)

Platform Six were particularly accommodating when I asked if they could play the backing for a song I was singing as a surprise. They prepared a sample track for me to rehearse with during the run up to the ceremony.

The band's show-stopping performance put the exclamation point on a truly magical day. Would recommend again and again. :)

Amazing!! Platform Six played at our 'festival themed' summer event for our staff and they were fantastic! They come highly recommended and we would love to have them again for our Christmas event. I will be recommending them to anyone that needs a band.

Saw these guys on the south coast a few weeks back. Very cool, proper entertainment : )

5 out of 5 doesn't explain how good these guys are. Just got in from one of their shows and I'm still buzzing. They're amazing guitarists that know how to keep the crowd buzzing and jumping. A lot of these reviews are from weddings and I can imagine they make the most boring of wedding into one of the best gigs you've ever been too. If I found out these guys are playing near me anytime soon again I will be going!

We have recently returned from our honeymoon and wanted to write a review on Platform Six for sure. They played at our wedding on 15th Sept 2012. We watched them at Walk About before we finally confirmed and they got everyone there up dancing and singing. They were just what we were looking for!
They did not disappoint! They truly created the atmosphere at the wedding and the dance floor was full the whole time. They have a good varied repertoire and are very flexible and adaptable too. They sang our first dance too with two friends of ours and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on the below. Went to see Platform 6 and thought they were really good. I thought there choice of songs was good and they certainly had a lot of people up and dancing which is what we are looking for at our wedding. Ieft just before the end so didn't get a chance to speak to any of them unfortunately.

Platform 6 played at our wedding in September and were incredible! I work in events and so have dealt with a lot of bands in my time and these guys far exceeded anyone else - they were brilliant! The feedback from our guests was fantastic and everyone had such a brilliant time dancing the night away. We hired Platform 6 for our wedding and they were truely fantastic. We had a few obscure requests for them which they were able to perform. We over ran on timings and the band were happy for us to keep postponing until we were ready for them. I'd recommend platform 6 any day - a fantastic band who went out of their way to accomodate our requirements.
