Act profile

Powder Jazz has been together for 5 years and have played innumerable gigs around the country and abroad.

We play songs from the classic period of American swing; Sinatra, King Cole, Fitzgerald, Armstrong are all influences. We're happy to provide mellow background music as a duo for a reception or dinner, and happy to swing with a full band at the party.
Although the band listed is the typical line-up, any number of musicians can be combined to cater for various tastes and requirements.

"Hi Alex,
I had the function on Saturday, and Powder Jazz came to play for the evening. I just wondered if you could pass on a message for me? Just to say thanks really. We had a wonderful night and their music was really good. Everyone commented on how good they were and how it was just right. The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
