Ran Kan Salsa is a 6 or 7 piece band of professional musicians, able to perform 4 different styles of latin. Among the venues where we performed: Bar Latina in Tottenham, Tanners street park in SE1, Casablanca Club in Brighton,Tottenham Carnival, Meridien Hotel in Piccadilly, Salsa Fusion in W1 and Havana Central in W1.
After many years performing they stand out as a band with a unique style in the salsa music scene. The intense variety of rhythms blending Latin, Jazz, Funk and Pop, creates an extraordinary atmosphere on and off the dance floor.
The line up of our band and the individual skills of the musicians, make possible a display of different styles with a wide variety of instruments. We can perform music in some cases that a 12 piece band would.The style of music includes most of the Latin American grooves(Brazilian and Afro Cuban); Samba, Bossanova, Clave, Cha-Cha-Cha with an influence from Jazz, Funk and Pop.From a six or seven piece band featuring: Drums, Bass , Keyboard, Sax, Trumpet and Vocal,
Among the many song writers who distinguished themselves in the last 40 years, Mustard covers the great Tito Puente, Sergio Mendez, Astrud Gilberto, Mongo Santamaria, Stan Getz; from the more popular and contemporary: Ricky Martin, Lou Bega, Santana etc.

'What can I say? A fantastic end to a fantastic day. A BIG thank you to you and all the members of the band. It was everything I hoped for and more. We thoroughly enjoyed your set and we have had nothing but glowing reports from everyone at our wedding. Everyone from the youngest to our grandmothers were up spinning a turn at some point and there were a few occasions I noticed when the rest of the house was pretty much empty and everyone was in the room listening to you (probably the best compliment if ever there was one). Thanks again. I would heartily recommend Tiberio and his crew to anyone even remotely interested in laying on something special for their event. They were very professional and obliging and had a good reportoire of songs and tempos - some well known and some simply blinding - to make sure the ebb and flow of the evening rolled along smoothly. They even had our grandmothers doing a turn (and that's no mean achievement). We have had nothing but glowing reports from all our guests and would not hesitate in hiring them again, should we find ourselves in the fortunate position of organising another party for our friends and family. Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
