Act profile

Red are a fun and energetic band and although only a 3 piece have a fantastic large sound enough to fill any dance floor! Red can easily cater for many styles of music, from all the 60’s classics to all the present day chart hits. Their tight 3 part harmonies and professional sound comes with many years of experience in the live music industry.

The band have played in a number of different tribute acts over the last 5 years and also had a long history of gigs with their separate original bands, before deciding to join together to form Red. They have performed both throughout the UK and abroad including shows in Malta, Jersey, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight and all around England. The band are all highly dedicated musicians and are prepared to travel anywhere to enjoy playing their party songs and feel it really comes across in their performances.


They are guaranteed to be a highly professional on and off the stage and will always give a sensational performance which makes them ideal for events such as Weddings, Functions, Corporate, Parties and Celebrations, University’s, Colleges and anything else you can think of!


They are also able to provide a “request service” ie should a couple wish to have a certain song played on their special day, they are more than happy to add it to their set at no extra charge (if given adequate notice).

"When we were choosing a wedding band for our special day we listened to literally hours of samples and read many, many playlists but could not find that anyone who felt right. The playlists were too twee, too narrow or just plain hideous. The samples we listened too also did not contain that certain something, that pizzazz that would make our day and in the worst cases perhaps the bands had chosen the wrong career. That all changed when we heard Happy Hour. We knew right away that this was the special band that could add to the magic of our wedding day and Red didn’t let us down.

Red have an aura about them that dispels them from sounding like any of the more traditional wedding bands who play the same old dull tunes. They were really friendly and approachable in discussing the playlist, willing to learn some new songs that we really wanted played, which gave us a feeling of inclusion and made us feel like our wedding was the greatest of all, putting all the previous high profile weddings to shame. Its personal touches like this that can really distinguish a band you think were okay and wouldn’t think about again to a band you would be happy to recommend in the future. Keep this up!

Red even went the extra mile to make sure the occasional was extra special. Let me explain how they did this; I wanted to give a special gift to the father of the bride for saying “yes” when I asked if I could marry his daughter. Purely by chance I heard a song on the radio that I thought would be great if it was played during the traditional brides dance with her father. The song was “Stealing Cinderella” by Chuck Wicks and I suddenly thought that it would be an excellent gift if I performed it live for them.

I discussed this with Richie from the band who thought this was a great idea and promptly set up rehearsals so that the lads were prepared. Alas, the band lives in the south and I am in the top end of Northumberland so rehearsals including me were not going to happen. Using Richies excellent idea of harnessing the power of YouTube to make sure both myself and the band were singing from the same songsheet, I would perform with the band for the first time live on the night. This must be daunting for a professional singer, never mind a pure amateur! Red were consummate professionals though and on the night the song went very smoothly, the band working to my singing cues to make both the bride and her dad very happy (and emotional) indeed. And after listening to testimonials from the guests, the band even managed to make me sound good. Well done lads as this clearly was an awesome feat!

"I wanted to write to say a big big big thank you for the 28th June. You were really fantastic. I admit that booking a band was the hardest and scariest thing about the whole wedding organisation as it is so important to the whole evening - and I was really worried about booking a band from the internet with so little to go on. Honestly, you were perfect, I mean I can dance all night but so could everyone else which was great!

Apart from the music being great I also have to say thank you for your flexibility. The timings were totally messed up and you were so flexible, playing for 2 hours straight was amazing and we really appreciated it. Apart from anything else, everyone was exhausted when you finished which meant there was no problem when they all had to leave at 12. Also re the noise limiter - I have no idea how this works but we did not notice anything so definitely no problem.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
