Act profile

The Alliance is a funksouljazzbluesrockadelic three-piece, comprising Dave on guitar & vocals, Jamie on bass & vocals and Joe on drums & vocals. The Alliance is a well-established act on the events and gigging circuit, having rocked the house at venues throughout the UK and Europe for the past five years.

Our style is eclectic, with far ranging, iconic rock influences, through to modern pop & dance music and various shades of funk, jazz and soul in between.........and Kylie. Our set list is extensive and varied, with huge selections of great tunes from the 1950s to the present day. You can therefore be assured that our only wish is to shake the venue with the kind of music your guests or clientele would like to hear, so talk to us and we'll listen...

On stage, we like to provide a real show, and to this end we provide professional-spec lighting effects and sound to ensure that you and your guests have a night (or day) to remember. We also like to dress the part, so we can be formal and sartorial, or cool and hip.........it's all about tailoring the show to your exact requirements.

The band and our operatives are fully trained in all relevant aspects of health and safety and we are fully insured in respect of public liability. Furthermore, our equipment is fully PAT tested and we conduct ourselves responsibly and efficiently before, during and following each performance.

Repertoire

Songs can be done in jazz or standard style.
Jazz Set: Hollow body Jazz Guitar, Upright electric Bass, Drums with brushes/light sticks.

Standard set: Electric Guitar and Bass with full effects, Drums.

Extra Costs

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
