Bringing the sound of 1930's Paris crashing into the modern world of contemporary pop!

‘The Busking Riviera’ are a stylish, charismatic group of professional musicians made up of Pianist Fred, Guitar/Vocalist Rob and Guitarist Joel.

Their unique busking style combines the sublime talents of all three musicians to create an astonishing live act, putting a contemporary twist on a classic 1930’s gypsy jazz sound. Whether entertaining clients in a busy city bar or creating a beautiful mellow ambiance for an early evening event, ‘The Riviera’ never fails to capture an audience.

The band base themselves in the North West of England, but travel both nationally and internationally to entertain clients looking for something special.

Fred Kindt is a highly accomplished and successful music producer, working with musicians such at Justin Timberlake, Mark Ronson, 50cent, Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson to name but a few! Fred is also a classically trained pianist and has performed with a number of prestigious and accomplished performers. Fred’s work as a producer introduced him to fellow ‘Riviera’ members Rob and Joel in 2010...

Rob has been heavily involved in the music industry for the past 10 years. During this time he has worked with a number of world renowned record labels and toured the UK with some of the country’s biggest bands, playing events such as the O2 wireless weekend and venues such as The Clapham Grand. Robs live performances have taken him worldwide including gigs in the USA and most recently Nice (France).

Joel is a sensational Jazz Guitarist playing alongside international jazz stars such as Ken Peplowski, Louis Stewart and Jacqui Dankworth. Joel’s talents on the guitar have taken him all over the world including a two year residency in New York, work in Asia and a recent string of gigs in Europe.

All three musicians now perform exclusively as ‘The Busking Riviera’ and are available for private hire, corporate events and advertising/media campaigns.

The option to book the band as a 4/5 piece with the addition of a drummer, double bass is also available and works particularly well in larger venues giving the band an extra kick!

Please note these prices do not include PA hire and travel. We have a good relationship with our hire company and can hire a full system and lighting for a mid sized event for around £100. We do have our own small PA system for ideal small intimate events/venues.

Location

North West based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
