Act profile

The Jacks are a fully professional and versatile wedding/party/function band playing classic dancefloor-fillers from the 50s through to the present day.

All members of the band have extensive experience of playing at weddings, university balls, private parties, charity events, and corporate functions. The band consists of 4 professional and experienced musicians and whereas other bands interchange their members, the The Jacks use the same line up everytime.

On lead vocals is Nigel Thomas - a very talented singer and rhythm guitarist. Something that really makes The Jacks stand out from the crowd is that Nigel has an innate ability to recreate the vocal style, intonation and intricacies of the original song where other singers think it's acceptable to sing their own approximation. On bass and backing vocals is Alex Douglas, on lead guitar is Jonathan Bretman and on drums is Stephen Wilde.


The Jacks are totally reliable, punctual, polite and smartly dressed. Onstage they are energetic and entertaining, involving the audience in the performance wherever possible. The band is fully self contained, providing a PA and lighting system for any size marquee, hall, or even outside.

The band travel all over the UK and overseas and will normally play 1 x 45 and 1 x 75 minute sets, but are completely flexible in every way - just ask and I am sure they can sort it!

Perfect for any event,energetic and fantastic musicians, they'll have people dancing from the first song to the last.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
