The James Brothers are a live acoustic duo made up of Simon James on vocals and acoustic guitar and Chris James on vocals and percussion. Chris and Simon have been singing together for since they were children and come from a family of singers and entertainers. As Simon and Chris are brothers their harmonies are the thing that sets them apart from other acts. They are smooth and blend perfectly.
Simon is a great guitarist and Chris is the beat man that makes people dance on percussion.

The James brothers play cover tracks in the Rock/pop/soul/dance genres. From The Kings of Leon to The Black Eyed Peas to The Monkeys to Coldplay and of course many more. They can play an energetic set that will keep a party dancing all night or a chilled out lounge style set with smooth harmonies from the brothers.

The James Brothers also play live as a three piece with an awesome beatboxer Phillipic.
The beatboxing adds a hip hop and dance groove to the music that is perfect for a party function. Phillipic bridges the songs with amazing dance tracks recreated with only his mouth.
It is like someone has pressed play on a dance record!

Line-up

The James Brothers are: Simon James: strong vocals (tenor voice) and talented guitarist Chris James: Strong vocals (baritone voice) and funky percussion. The brothers have up to 4 hours of material and can play either high energy perfect for a party or a chilled out set perfect for background music during dinner.

The trio are perfect for a high energy trendy party. The beat boxer adds a big hip hop and dance feel to the set.

Also included

Behringer Desk with amp 1200watts (600 each side). Two large EV speakers with stands. 1 Sennheiser vocal mic, 1 SM58 vocal mic and a percussion mic. 2 floor spot lights (also we can hire larger rig if necessary).

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 6pm and to be finished around midnight.
