It's your event, your special day and The Radio Band can be your band. We know how stressful it can be making sure everyone is happy and entertained so let The Radio Band take one more worry off your mind.

The band have an extensive set list of songs to play from but if you can’t see a song you love and want to be played let them know and they'll learn it, give them enough notice and they'll learn as many as you like. The Radio Band is guaranteed to make your day with their energetic and flawless performance.


The Band:

Every member of The Radio Band has studied their respective instruments at Brighton's Institute of Modern music all working towards their degree qualifications. The band is comprised of six musicians of the very highest standard. Lead singer Francesca gained experience playing with other function bands throughout the south of England before finally becoming the full time Radio Band front woman; she is also an esteemed singer teacher in the Brighton area. Her control over her soulful voice means she is perfect for singing any genre. Sophie backs Francesca up with an inimitable style and singing ability making our two singers much more than just lead and backing, their voices combined is integral to The Radio Band's exceptional sound and vibe.

Leo's (guitarist) roots stem from the Blues and his speciality is slide guitar, his vast musical knowledge is reflected by his aptitude to play any style of music while Scott's guitar style and superior ability is at the centre of the band's sound. Together Josh (Bass) and Marcus (Drums) make the rhythm section of The Radio Band. Josh's natural ability and passion for anything funky will have everyone up and dancing along with Marcus' versatility and uncompromising beats.

The Music:

The Radio Band prides themselves on their ability to adapt and perform to the highest standard at any event. At your night we are your radio, your band! Our set list will cater for any age and taste from Funk to Punk and Hip-Hop to Motown. We are completely and unwaveringly flexible on all aspects of your gig from Location, venue, dress code, special requests, set, start time, running time, the volume we play at and most importantly, if there are songs you want to hear not on our set list we will happily learn them for you given appropriate notice. We perform themed functions and can easily adapt our performance to suit your specific musical tastes/requirements.

Line-up

The Radio Band are a six piece featuring two vocals, two guitars, bass and drums.

The bands line-up can chop and change to your exact specification. We can use less instruments, using Vocals and Guitar or just strip down our instruments for a more intimate event.We can really play as loudly or as quietly as you wish with a line-up to suit your budget.

Also included

The band can supply a PA of any size due to a close collaboration with Kaos Events Promotions.

Location

South East based and will travel to these areas: South East, South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Wales.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
