Act profile

The Resolves are a three, four and five piece live function band based in Cheshire in the North West of England. Able to travel anywhere within Great Britain, they are available for hire at weddings, parties, corporate events, long term contracts and residencies. They cover a wide range of material including pop, rock, soul, funk, swing, R‘n‘B, blues, rock and roll and Jazz spanning from the 50s right up to modern day. An example repetoire list is available on his page, but don’t hesitate to make requests when you make your booking. The Resolves pride themselves on their ability to learn songs quickly and to a high standard and will aim to accommodate your song into their repertoire.

As a unit The Resolves have accumulated a wealth of live playing experience. Having taken on several contracts for P&O Ferries, playing nightly as the resident house (boat) band. They have performed together hundreds of times, both at sea and on dry land, and are as tight as they come. We realise that weddings and parties can be an expensive business! So everything we do can be tailored to suit your needs. At the core The Resolves are an energetic three piece, fluent in rock, pop and blues. However they also frequently play as a four or five piece, and regularly work with other professional musicians that add a new level of depth to the band’s sound. In this format they can add a host of funk and soul songs to their already large repertoire. The band can also provide DJ sets between performances, so you no longer have to choose between hiring a band and a DJ. We also come as an acoustic trio, perfect for a chilled atmosphere in such an instance as pre-dinner drinks, meal times, or even at a low-key, chilled out event.

Also included

Professional P.A system including Mackie FOH speakers, Alesis sound desk and Shure & Samson microphones. Larger systems can be hired through trusted sources on request. Lighting system is dependant on each and every event.

North West based and will travel to these areas: South West, Midlands, North East, North West, Wales.

The price brackets above should be used as a guide only as all quotes are bespoke.

Performance times for most acts except Tributes and some other Unique performers are usually 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 min sets.

(If you require the act to perform longer than these times you may incur extra costs.)

Travel costs vary depending on the act and will be included to the quote given to you by our agents.

Our acts would usually expect to arrive around 5.30pm and to be finished around midnight.

(If you need the act to arrive earlier or finish later there may be extra costs but these can be negotiated.)
